Power Units

The ‘Power Unit List’ page is where you can add, edit and delete power units from the list. The information fields on this page include code, name, and disabled status (checked/unchecked). Power Units on this list are then available for selection when creating and editing trucks in the Truck List.

Add a New Power Unit

When you’re ready to add a new power unit to the list, click on ‘+New’. Entering a code for the power unit is the only required field, name is optional. When you have added information in the desired fields, simply exit the Power Unit List.

Edit the Power Unit List

Clicking ‘Edit List’ gives you access to every field on the list of power units. Simply type the new information into the desired fields and the system will automatically save your changes.

Delete a Power Unit

Highlight the intended power unit by clicking anywhere on the power unit’s line of information. You will see an arrow pointing to the power unit’s line as well as the line being highlighted (unless you are already in ‘Edit List’ mode). Click on ‘Delete’ and you will be prompted to confirm that you wish to delete the selected power unit. Be sure you are on the intended power unit as this cannot be undone.

Disable a Power Unit

You can change the status of a power unit to “disabled” when you want to temporarily avoid assigning loads to it rather than deleting it from the list. Simply click the box under the ‘disabled’ column within the ‘Power Unit List’ page. When a power unit is checked as disabled, any truck that includes that power unit cannot be assigned to a load.

If a truck with a disabled power unit is selected for a load, a message like the following example will be displayed, “Disabled must be equal to 'No' in Power Unit: Code=PU1. Current value is 'Yes'.”
