Trucks

The ‘Truck List’ page is where you can add, edit and delete trucks from the list. The information fields include code, name, power unit code, trailer code, and trailer max weight. A truck can be defined as a selected power unit paired with a selected trailer, however, the only required field on the truck list page is ‘Code’.

You will also create/edit a Power Unit List and a Trailer List. The power unit code and trailer code fields within the Truck List are drop down menus, and the selections are pulled from the Power Unit List and Trailer List.

When a trailer code is selected for a truck, the trailer’s maximum weight is automatically entered for you in the ‘Trailer Max Weight’ field, based on the information in the Trailer List. The Trailer Max Weight field cannot be manually edited, a trailer must be selected from the Trailer List by clicking the drop down menu within the Trailer Code field.

Add a New Truck

To enter a new truck, click on ‘+New’. When you have added information in the desired fields, simply exit the Truck List.

Click ‘+New’ then enter the desired information as in the example below.

Edit the Truck List

Clicking ‘Edit List’ gives you access to every field on the list of trucks. Simply type or select the new information into the desired fields and the system will automatically save your changes.

Delete a Truck

Highlight the intended truck by clicking anywhere on the truck’s line of information. You will see an arrow pointing to the truck’s line as well as the line being highlighted (unless you are already in ‘Edit List’ mode). Click on ‘Delete’ and you will be prompted to confirm that you wish to delete the highlighted truck. Be sure you are on the intended truck as this cannot be undone.
