Security Setup

After the RealShipping Dispatch extension has been installed, two permission sets for the extension will have been added to your Business Central environment.

These permission sets should be assigned to relevant users or user groups.

They are:

  • DISPATCHUSERWSG

  • REALLICENSING WSG

User Setup

Within the User Setup card are options that will affect which location is the default calendar that a user sees as well as the type of calendar access each user has.

Shipping Dispatch Calendar Access – Under this column in the User Setup card you will find a drop-down menu. The three options to apply to a user are:

  1. No Access – The user will have no access to the Shipping Dispatch calendar.

  2. Read Only – The user can view the calendar but cannot make any changes to it.

  3. Read/Write – The user can view the calendar as well as make changes to it.

Shipping Dispatch Calendar Location – Under this column select the location that will be the user’s default location. Whenever the user launches Shipping Dispatch, this will be the default location they see.
